In 1986 there were at least five other major competitors in the area, but KIRK MORTUARY SERVICE OF HOUSTON is the only one to stand the test of time. There are also several large, corporately-owned firms serving the area, with their corporate methods and pricing. Throughout the years, there have also been many other independent firms to come and go. Unfortunately, new embalming services seem to fail as quickly as they start, but we've continued to provide a reliable and dependable service for our clients in the Houston, Texas, area.

Our owner and operator, Robert C. (Bobby) Davis, has more than 40 years of experience in the funeral industry. He has worked with large and small firms as a funeral director and embalmer, both as an employee and manager. As such, he knows what is expected and necessary to provide quality service to clients serving families in their most difficult hours.
